From Paris with Love
When there is a free weekend in our schedule we mostly decide flying to London or Paris. Both cities are always the best idea to escape from everyday. You always find something new and every season has its own qualities. Paris, the city of love, is romantic, has insane buildings, perfectly designed gardens and beautifull, classy people. Especially during fashion week you find on each corner cosmopolitane, fashionable people from all over the world. Paris is one of the centre of attraction regarding to fashion and spending the days in the boutiques, you have to leave too much money there.
Where to Shop in Paris
Le Bon Marché, first modern department store and founded in 1838. Especially the moving staircase is very famous and spectacular. It’s located in the 7th Arrondissement .
Galeries Lafayette, world famous warehouse , where you can find everything from designer brands via little labels and delicous food. Go up to the rooftop terrace and enjoy the view of the Eifel tower and the opera house.
Merci (111 Boulevard Beaumarchais), a 1500sq m old wallpaper factory. They have a cute Fiat 500 at the entrance which is oerfect for some shootings. The one of the most eclectic general stores of Paris is located in the heart of the trendy neighbourhood of Le Haut Marais. In Merci you find a variety of goods, interior design and fashion. There are two cafés and one restaurant.
Little boutiques, French clothing brands and finest streetware stores like SUPREME and carhartt are located in the Le Marais area.
Where to Eat in Paris
Fragments (76 Rue des Tournelles), to grap the best coffee of the city!
L´Eclair de Gènie, when you did not try the sweets of l´Eclair de Génie by Christophe Adam, you were not really in Paris! You can get them in Galeries Lafayette or in their own shop: 14 Rue Pavée.
DAROCO (6 Rue Vivienne,), Italian delicious cuisine and French interior style amidst Paris.
Angelina (226 rue de Rivoli), for more sweets made in Paris since 1903. Otherwise check the macarons of Ladurée .
Cafe de Flore (172 Boulevard Saint-Germain), haunt of the Parisian intellectuals with regulars like Karl Lagerfeld.
Café Kitsune (e.g. 51 Galerie de Montpensier), coffee shot owned by the Japanese clothing and music label Kitsune. One of them is located in the pretty Palais of Royal, which is one oft he most instagramable spot of Paris.
Where to go in Paris
Stroll around in Montmatre with its old buildings and famous stairs. Climb the hill Sacré-Cœur to visit the famous Basilica minor Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre in the Roman-Byzantine style and enjoy the 360° city view of Paris. The cute La Maison Rose house is just behind, so do not forget to shoot there.
If it’s raining: visit some amazing museums . Our favorites are Musée Rodin and Musée d`Orsay.
If it’s a sunny day: visit the perfectly designed gardens around Paris. Place des Vosges, Jardin des Tuileries and Jardin du Luxembourg are one of our favorites.
Simply walk around the picturesque streets around Rue Crémieux with its colorful buildings.
Walk from Notre Dame to Eifel Tower along the Seine river in the evening when it`s getting dark.
Where to sleep in Paris

When you need some quietscent, go out of the trouble and spend some days in the beautifull city Versaille (just some minutes by train). Of course you have to visit there the amazing Chateau de Versailles! There will be a blogpost about this wonderfull castle very soon.
